I just recently graduated with two bachelor degrees and I would love to teach English in China. I realize that prejudice is anywhere, but seeing as how I would have no family or friends and would be in a foreign country, I'm afraid the prejudice I might experience would be too much for me to handle emotionally. I'm from the South in America, and have had my fair share of racist experiences, but I was wondering what the atmosphere is like in China.
Has anyone who wasn't Caucasian taught English in China? How was the experience?
